Dear Neighbor, Thank you for the opportunity to serve you again in the Minnesota House of Representatives. It is truly an honor to bring your voice to the Capitol. As we look ahead to the legislative session, priority one will be removing the barriers to job growth. Minnesota is home to a dynamic workforce and tremendous businesses both large and small. Through pro-growth policy and a more competitive business climate, we can bring more family-supporting jobs back to our community. As we work to bring jobs back to Minnesota, we will also bring responsibility back to government. The message from our citizens was clear: turn-around unsustainable spending. Minnesota is projected to take in more revenue during the next budget cycle than current expenditures. Instead of spending more, it is time to make government live within its means—just like families and businesses do every day. By focusing on priorities, restructuring government and driving efficiency, Minnesotans can have the services they need and the value they deserve. The legislative session begins next January 4, but in the meantime please do not hesitate to contact me with your questions, concerns and comments. It is a privilege to serve you and our community.
Sincerely,
|
